She leaves behind her precious sister whom she raised as her own, Rebecca Fields Keels. She is also survived by her brothers, Gene (Glenda) Fields, Cleve (Delema) Fields, and Bob Fields; as well as sisters, Juanita Williams and Wanda (Billy) Moore; and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

Dollie was an intelligent and creative thinker. She wrote numerous poems, odes, and created complex word puzzles for fun. She wrote the following poem when she was 83 and the second part was written upon her passing.

Antique Doll

Old age is a strong opponent to me,
Since I've reached the age of 83.
Probably others have noticed I've lost my touch.
I'm not accomplishing as well, or as much.
Although I admit my biceps are hard,
I still don't like to work in the yard.
When I get to heaven, I don't know when that will be.
I don't think I'll look or feel eighty-three.

Young she was not,
But a better battle no one has ever fought.
She fought with all her might,
But her famed biceps were no longer tight.
Reaching the age of 90 is nothing to be embarrassed about,
When she saw those pearly gates I know she gave a shout.

Our Antique Doll will forever be missed.
